Kids are back at school, normality and routine has been re-established and we’re sad to see the Summer drift away. But if you had a little break over the Summer or things have got on top of you a bit because you’ve taken the annual 2 week holiday, juggled childcare, meetings, playdates and business calls and your feet haven’t touched the ground since you’ve been back then maybe taking a step back is the way forward?
Try doing these to see if it helps restore some order and focus:
- Organise and de-clutter your workspace. It’s easy to get distracted when all those bits of paper and post-it notes are everywhere
- Make a list. What’s a priority, what’s not, what can you leave to someone else and what do you have to do?
- What do you need to do today? What do you need to do tomorrow? Today isn’t over until tomorrow is planned. And so on….
